The Harnett Central Trojans basketball team (Angier, NC), was nudged 64-60 in Friday's league battle with the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC)

The Jaguars now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triton for a 3A/4A Conference 23 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Overhills will confront a Hawks team coming off a 69-64 league win over Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 12-9.

The Trojans (3-17) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans come into the 3A/4A Conference 23 battle with a 13-9 record. In their last battle, Pine Forest was nudged by Richmond (Rockingham, NC), 87-55, in a non-league battle.
