The Harnett Central Trojans basketball team (Angier, NC), was overwhelmed 64-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC)

The Hawks now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host E.E. Smith for a 3A/4A Conference 23 battle on Friday, January 20. Triton will confront a Golden Bulls team coming off a 55-49 league win over Westover (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls record now stands at 12-3.

The Trojans (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles come into the 3A/4A Conference 23 battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Western Harnett trounced Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 41-38, in a league battle.
