North Carolina High School Basketball - Triton crushes Harnett Central

February 10, 2023: Erwin, NC 28339

Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), 69-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Triton upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Hawks travel to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Overhills won 70-69 in their recent league bout against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 23 bout, on Monday, February 13. Harnett Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 18-7 record after their 54-36 league loss to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC).
