North Carolina High School Basketball - Midway knocked off by Triton

November 30, 2022: Erwin, NC 28339

The Triton Hawks basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Midway Raiders to 49 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Johnston for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Triton will meet a Trojans team coming off a 53-40 non-league loss to North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.

The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Lakewood ran past Pender (Burgaw, NC), 59-51, in a non-league contest.
