February 3, 2024: Fishersville, VA 22939 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) and the visiting Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), saw Wilson Memorial's basketball squad wallop Buffalo Gap by a count of 91-53.
With the victory, Wilson Memorial upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Green Hornets travel to Staunton (Staunton, VA) to play the Storm in a Shenandoah challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Staunton won 78-40 in their recent league challenge against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)
Next up, the Bison play the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) in a Shenandoah challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Buffalo Gap will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 91-80 league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
