North Carolina High School Basketball - McDowell nips Enka

February 4, 2025: Marion, NC 28752

In Tuesday's league contest, the host McDowell Titans basketball team scored a close 65-59 triumph over the Enka Jets.

The Titans (18-2) will now prepare for their contest against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars go into the 3A/4A Mountain contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Asheville was tipped by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 87-68, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Jets battle the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a 3A/4A Mountain contest, on Friday, February 7. Enka will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Black Hawks go into the contest with a 12-9 record after their 87-62 non-league win over West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC).
