The Enka Jets basketball squad (Enka, NC), was crushed 82-40 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting McDowell Titans (Marion, NC)

With the victory, McDowell advances its record to 14-1 on the year. The Titans host Erwin (Asheville, NC) to meet the Warriors in a 3A/4A Mountain battle on Friday, January 17. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 8-8. Erwin lost 68-26 in their recent league battle against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)

The Jets now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheville for a 3A/4A Mountain battle on Tuesday, January 21. Enka will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 71-66 league loss to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-14.
