In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks basketball team scored a good 60-48 triumph over the Harding University Rams.

The Mavericks (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies go into the 3A/4A Queen City battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Hough thwarted West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 45-40, in a league battle.

The Rams now own a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Charlotte for a 3A/4A Queen City battle on Friday, February 7. Harding University will meet a Lions squad coming off a 45-40 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Lions record now stands at 9-11.
