Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 75-44 in a league match.

With the victory, Mallard Creek advances its record to 12-11 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Chambers (Charlotte, NC) to face the Cougars in a 3A/4A Queen City match on Friday, February 14. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 15-8. Chambers won 73-66 in their recent league match against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

The Hawks now own a 0-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocky River for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. West Mecklenburg will face a Ravens squad coming off a 71-49 league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Ravens record now stands at 9-13.
