The Islands Sharks basketball squad (Savannah, GA), lost 71-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA)

With the victory, Johnson advances its record to 9-14 on the year. The Atomsmashers travel to Beach (Savannah, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 3 battle on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 12-11. Beach won 53-50 in their recent league battle against Groves (Garden City, GA)

The Sharks now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Day for a AAA Region 3 battle on Friday, February 7. Islands will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 64-41 league win over Jenkins (Savannah, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-6.
