North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus trounces East Rowan

February 6, 2024: Salisbury, NC 28146

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) basketball crushed the host East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), 73-33 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars go into the 3A South Piedmont test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Carson walloped Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 68-65, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Carson for a 3A South Piedmont test on Tuesday, February 13. East Rowan will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 79-61 league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 13-8.
