The Gering Bulldogs basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Mitchell Tigers to 61 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCook for a B District 8 contest on Friday, February 9. Gering will battle a Bison team coming off a 71-50 non-league loss to Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE). The Bison record now stands at 8-10.

The Tigers (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Kimball (Kimball, NE). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 13-7 record.
