In Tuesday's league outing, the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), by a margin of 71-33.

The Buccaneers (18-2) will now prepare for their outing against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the 3A/4A Mideastern outing with a 21-0 record. In their last outing, New Hanover smashed North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 72-64, in a league outing.
