In Tuesday's league outing, the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) basketball squad beat the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), by a margin of 76-61.

The Vikings (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle go into the 3A/4A Mideastern outing with a 4-12 record. In their last outing, Ashley was topped by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 66-65, in a league outing.
