North Carolina High School Basketball - Hoggard fells West Brunswick

December 15, 2023: Shallotte, NC 28470

Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 72-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Hoggard upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to North Charleston (North Charleston, SC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Trojans play the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. West Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
