The Lincolnton Wolves basketball team (Lincolnton, NC), was overwhelmed 77-20 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC)

The Cavaliers now possess a 20-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunker Hill for a 2A Catawba Valley battle on Friday, February 9. East Burke will confront a Bears team coming off a 74-41 league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-15.

The Wolves (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors come into the 2A Catawba Valley battle with a 1-18 record. In their last battle, West Caldwell was overwhelmed by West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 31-23, in a league battle.
