February 9, 2024: Connelly Springs, NC 28612 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) and the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), saw East Burke's basketball squad wallop Bunker Hill by a tally of 75-12.
With the victory, East Burke improves its record to 21-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to confront the Rebels in a 2A Catawba Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 9-13. West Lincoln won 43-41 in their recent league challenge against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC)
Next up, the Bears confront the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 6-16 record after their 43-41 league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
