The Newton-Conover Red Devils basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Bunker Hill Bears to 31 in the Red Devils league victory on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maiden for a 2A Catawba Valley contest on Tuesday, January 23. Newton-Conover will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 62-20 league win over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-7.

The Bears (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans come into the 2A Catawba Valley contest with a 7-8 record.
