Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Somerset winner over Chestnut Ridge
February 7, 2023: Somerset, PA 15501 The Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA) basketball felled the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA), 74-61 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (4-15) will now prepare for their test against Forest Hills (Sidman, PA). The Rangers go into the Laurel Highlands test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Forest Hills thwarted North Star (Boswell, PA), 59-49, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop McCort for a Laurel Highlands test on Friday, February 10. Chestnut Ridge will encounter a Crushers squad coming off a 70-63 league loss to Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Crushers record now stands at 9-11.
