North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County holds off Pasquotank County

February 7, 2025: Barco, NC 27917

The Currituck County Knights basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Pasquotank County Panthers to 70 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now have a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Northeastern for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal game on Tuesday, February 11. Currituck County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 85-50 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Pasquotank County falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to confront the Nighthawks in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal game on Tuesday, February 11. The Nighthawks go into the game with a record of 14-8. First Flight won 81-45 in their recent league game against Holmes (Edenton, NC)
