In Friday's non-league outing, the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE), by a margin of 72-25.

The Mustangs (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Giltner (Giltner, NE). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Giltner smashed Hampton (Hampton, NE), 55-42, in a league outing.

The Longhorns now own a 0-19 record. They play next when they host Hampton for a D2 District 3 outing on Friday, February 16.
