In Friday's league outing, the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mattoon Greenwave (Mattoon, IL), by a margin of 68-38.

The Braves (27-1) will now prepare for their outing against Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 10-14 record. In their last outing, Decatur Eisenhower was trounced by Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 57-35, in a league outing.
