Virginia High School Basketball - West Point knocked off by King & Queen Central
February 9, 2024: King & Queen Court House, VA 23085 The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting West Point Pointers to 27 in the Royal Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Royal Tigers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King William for a Tidewater contest on Tuesday, February 13. King & Queen Central will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-4.
The Pointers (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Dukes enter the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Gloucester was defeated by Hampton (Hampton, VA), 77-16, in a league contest.
