The West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) basketball knocked off the host Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA), 41-31 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pointers (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Carver College and Career Academy went down by Charles City (Charles City, VA), 1-0, in a league test.
