The West Point Pointers basketball team scored 26 points and held the host Lancaster Red Devils to 20 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pointers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northumberland for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. West Point will meet a Indians team coming off a 44-28 non-league loss to Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Indians record now stands at 2-2.

The Red Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians enter the Northern Neck contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Northumberland was nudged by West Point (West Point, VA), 48-24, in a non-league contest.
