Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) and the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), saw Essex's basketball squad wallop West Point by a tally of 53-25.

With the victory, Essex improves its record to 23-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Westmoreland (Montross, VA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Westmoreland won 61-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Charles City (Charles City, VA)
