The KIPP Pride Pride basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Northwest Halifax Vikings to 66 in the Pride league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pride now possess a 6-12 record. They play next when they host North Edgecombe for a 1A Tar Roanoke game on Friday, February 14. KIPP Pride will confront a Warriors team coming off a 81-65 league win over Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Northwest Halifax falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Vikings host Northampton County (Gaston, NC) to confront the Jaguars in a 1A Tar Roanoke game on Thursday, February 13.
