The KIPP Pride Pride basketball squad (Gaston, NC), was outscored 59-49 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC)

With the victory, Northampton County advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Jaguars host Weldon (Weldon, NC) to meet the Chargers in a 1A Tar Roanoke battle on Friday, January 31. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 2-10. Weldon lost 77-70 in their recent league battle against Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC)

The Pride now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren County for a 1A Tar Roanoke battle on Thursday, January 30. KIPP Pride will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 65-59 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-6.
