North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Halifax trounced by Northampton County

February 7, 2025: Halifax, NC 27839

The Southeast Halifax Trojans basketball squad (Halifax, NC), was crushed 70-36 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC)

With the victory, Northampton County advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Jaguars travel to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC) to meet the Warriors in a 1A Tar Roanoke battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 9-10. North Edgecombe lost 53-47 in their recent league battle against Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC)

The Trojans now own a 3-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nash Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11.
