The Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) basketball felled the host Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA), 69-56 in Tuesday's league test.
The Chiefs (22-10) will now prepare for their test against Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Barons go into the VISAA Division I test with a 19-9 record.
The Celtics now own a 6-20 record. They play next when they travel to Virginia Episcopal School for a non-league test on Thursday, February 15. Roanoke Catholic will encounter a Bishops squad coming off a 61-51 league loss to Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The Bishops record now stands at 11-12.
