The Mars Fightin' Planets basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Shaler Area Titans to 23 in the Fightin' Planets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Fightin' Planets now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel Park for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. Mars will confront a Black Hawks team coming off a 46-45 non-league win over Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Shaler Area falls to 20-3 on the campaign.
