The Hoggard Vikings basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Laney Buccaneers to 29 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Topsail for a 3A/4A Conference 20 contest on Friday, February 17. Hoggard will battle a Pirates team coming off a 63-50 league win over Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 21-5.
