Utah High School Basketball - Riverton holds off Mountain Ridge

February 16, 2024: Riverton, UT 84065

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) and the visiting Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT), saw Riverton's basketball squad hold off Mountain Ridge by a tally of 50-48.

With the victory, Riverton improves its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Silverwolves travel to Lone Peak (Highland, UT) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 11-11. Lone Peak lost 53-37 in their recent league challenge against Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT)

Next up, the Sentinels confront the Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 21. Mountain Ridge will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 53-37 league win over Lone Peak (Highland, UT).
