In Saturday's league match, the host Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks basketball team scored a decisive 77-23 triumph over the The Covenant Eagles.

In their next game, the Mavericks meet the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 20.
