Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), saw Ardrey Kell's basketball squad hold off South Mecklenburg by a tally of 73-72.

With the victory, Ardrey Kell improves its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Knights host Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 23-2. Myers Park won 63-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
