The Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA) softball the host Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA), 6-3 in Thursday's league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pineville for a 5A District 2 outing on Tuesday, March 18. Alexandria will encounter a Rebels team coming off a 13-1 league win over Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 14-1.

With the loss, Ouachita Parish moves to 11-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Monticello (Monticello, AR) to encounter the Billies in a non-league outing on Friday, March 14.
