In Tuesday's league match, the host Alexandria Trojans softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Ouachita Parish Lions.

The Trojans (21-4) will now prepare for their match against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels come into the 5A District 2 match with a 24-3 record. In their last match, Pineville notched a victory over Ruston (Ruston, LA), 8-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Lions battle the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 match, on Thursday, April 3. Ouachita Parish will attempt to better on its 15-10 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 11-14 record after their 5-0 league win over Neville (Monroe, LA).
