The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) baseball got by the visiting The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 5-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Bishops now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roanoke Catholic for a challenge on Friday, April 11. Virginia Episcopal School will clash with a Celtics team coming off a 10-9 league loss to Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The Celtics record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, The Covenant drops to 6-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Mavericks in a VISAA Virginia Independent challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Mavericks go into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Miller School of Albemarle won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA)
