The Mountain Island Charter Raptors baseball squad (Mt. Holly, NC), 6-3 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC)

With the triumph, Corvian Community moves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC) to confront the Patriots in a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 9-10. Piedmont Community Charter lost 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against North Hills Christian (Salisbury, NC)

The Raptors now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bradford Prep for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, April 22.
