South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Bluffton Tigers (Bluffton, IN), 16-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, South Adams improves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Starfires travel to Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN) to face the Cadets in a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. The Cadets enter the game with a record of 2-6. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran lost 6-1 in their recent non-league game against Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN)

The Tigers now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Union City for a non-league game on Monday, April 28. Bluffton will face a Indians squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Centerville (Centerville, IN). The Indians record now stands at 2-6.
