West Virginia High School Baseball - St. Joseph Central defeats Sherman
May 1, 2025: Seth, WV 25181 The St. Joseph Central Irish baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Sherman Tide to 5 in the Irish league win on Thursday.
The Irish now hold a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wahama for a Little Kanawha test on Friday, May 2. St. Joseph Central will play a White Falcons team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Winfield (Winfield, WV). The White Falcons record now stands at 10-11.
With the defeat, Sherman drops to 8-9 on the year. The Tide travel to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV) to play the Panthers in a Freelance test on Friday, May 2. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 9-12. Tug Valley lost 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV)
