The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) and the visiting Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA), saw North Pocono's baseball team beat Wallenpaupack Area by a margin of 9-7.

The Trojans (12-4) will now prepare for their battle against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Warriors enter the Lackawanna 1 battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Delaware Valley held off Scranton (Scranton, PA), 10-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Buckhorns face the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 battle, on Monday, May 5. Wallenpaupack Area will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 14-2 record after their 10-6 league win over Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA).
