Connecticut High School Softball - Ridgefield bounces Westhill
May 17, 2022: Stamford, CT 06902 Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT), 9-2 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Danbury for a Fairfield County challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Ridgefield will face a Hatters squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Hatters record now stands at 17-1.
With the loss, Westhill falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to face the Rams in a Fairfield County challenge on Wednesday, May 18. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 8-10. New Canaan lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT)
