The Highway 6 Trailblazers softball squad (Holdrege, NE), was routed 23-7 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE)

The Haymakers (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Huskies go into the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Aurora knocked off York (York, NE), 3-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trailblazers battle the Chadron Cardinals (Chadron, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 6. Highway 6 will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Bayard (Bayard, NE).
