Ohio High School Volleyball - Napoleon overwhelmed by Northview
September 11, 2025: Napoleon, OH 43545 Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH), 3-0 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Findlay (Findlay, OH). The Trojans come into the Northern Lakes challenge with a 3-7 record.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Archbold Blue Streaks (Archbold, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Napoleon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pettisville (Pettisville, OH).
Match Summary
NAPOLEON - Cats vs. Cats and it was a great match with Northview coming out on top in straight sets to move to 6-5 overall, 4-3 in the NLL and 1-2 in the Buckeye Division.
Northview was led by senior outside hitter, Talia Twigg, with a team-high 12 kills, a team-high 15 digs and a 1.9 passing rating. Northview also received 12 kills and 3 blocks from junior middle blocker, Frankie Ramsdell-Washington. The Cats received big contributions from the entire roster, including 4 kills from senior Bri Langenderfer and freshman Lilly Smith; 14 digs from sophomore libero Jade Hagan; 3 aces from junior outside hitter Katie Ward; and 32 assists and 7 digs, 4 kills from junior setter Alayna Sauer. It was a total team effort for Northview.
