The Fabens Wildcats got by the visiting Bowie Bears football team by a score of 47-42 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the San Elizario Eagles (San Elizario, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 19. Fabens will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 56-0 league loss to Ysleta (El Paso, TX).

The Bears (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clint (Clint, TX). The Lions come into the 4A-1 Region I District 1 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Clint was nipped by Riverside (El Paso, TX), 54-35, in a league test.
