The McDowell Titans football team (Marion, NC), was knocked off 48-28 in Friday's league challenge with the host T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC)

The Rams (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks come into the 3A/4A West Conference 53 challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, North Buncombe was knocked off by A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC), 48-0, in a league challenge.

The Titans now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Buncombe for a 3A/4A West Conference 53 challenge on Friday, September 30.
