Ohio High School Volleyball - Northview over Findlay
September 16, 2025: Sylvania, OH 43560 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH) and the visiting Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH), observed Northview's volleyball team top Findlay by a count of 3-0.
The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Whitmer (Toledo, OH). The Panthers enter the Northern Lakes contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Whitmer was knocked off by Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Trojans now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Catholic for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Findlay will encounter a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-6.

Leading for the Cats was junior middle blocker, Frankie Ramsdell-Washington with a team-high 13 kills, hitting .478; senior opposite, Bri Langenderfer with 10 kills, hitting .333, and a team-high 5 aces; and senior outside hitter, Talia Twigg with 9 kills and team-high 11 digs; and senior Alyssa Raczkowski with 6 kills. The offense was masterfully led by junior setter, Alayna Sauer with 41 assists, 3 kills and 8 digs. The bright spot for the Cats was passing as the total team passed a 2.1, with multiple players leading the effort - Jade Hagan and Kyra Ervin (2.31), Twigg (2.07, Langenderfer (2.6).
