Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Maize Eagles (Maize, KS), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Valley Center improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Hornets host Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 10-5. Kapaun Mt. Carmel won 2-0 in their recent league test against East (Wichita, KS)

The Eagles now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haysville Campus for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I test on Tuesday, September 16.
