The Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ) volleyball knocked off the host Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Golden Hawks now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Tempe for a 4A - Black Canyon bout on Wednesday, September 25. Desert Sunrise will clash with a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-8.
